George Hetrick  Death, Obituary  – On December 17, 2022, George Samuel “Sam” Hetrick, who resided in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away at his residence. He was there at the time of his passing. When he passed away, he had reached the age of 94 years old. His parents were Samuel and Ella (Shaffer) Hetrick, and he was born in the city of Mayport on December 10th, 1928. His name was Samuel Shaffer Hetrick. He was his parent’s only kid and had no siblings.

They started their life as husband and wife on February 25, 1951, when he wed Mary Jane Crissman, and they have been married ever since. After serving in the military from 1951 through 1953, George received a dishonorable discharge and was discharged from the service in 1953. The year 1993 marked the year that he made the decision to end his career with Doverspike Coal Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked to spend his spare time fishing, hunting, and watching sports broadcasts, particularly those involving the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

His wife, Mary Jane Hetrick; his son, Ronald Hetrick (and his wife Pauline); his grandchildren, Michael (Becky) Truitt, Amanda (Brock) Smith, and Angela (Justin) Stewart; his great-grandchildren, Matthew and Samantha Truitt, Malachi, Cain, and Bella Stewart; his sisters, Grace Burkett and Mary Lou Shriver; and his brothers, Carl Hetrick and Richard Hetrick; all of these members of his family are still alive today His Hetrick was taken away from us on September 27, 2018, and he will never return. Before he did, his daughter Brenda Hetrick Truitt, his brother John Hetrick, and his sister Dorothy Reedy all passed away.

He was the only surviving member of his family. Both of his parents had already passed away before to his passing. The only member of his immediate family to have survived, he was the sole survivor of his family. The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is in charge of making the private preparations for the funeral, and the funeral home is also in charge of supervising the arrangements that are being made for the funeral. Jerusalem Cemetery in New Bethlehem has been picked as the location where the deceased person would be laid to rest, and this location was chosen specifically for this purpose.
