Hallie Phillips Obituary – Hallie Elizabeth Phillips, 20, of Wardsville, Missouri, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, with her family at her side. She had a long history of illness. The day after the holiday of Thanksgiving was when Hallie passed away. She was given the name Angie (Oligschlaeger) Phillips after she was born on January 17, 2002, in the city of Jefferson City.
The proud parents of this young daughter are Lance Phillips and Angie (Oligschlaeger) Phillips. Her mother gave her the Oligschlaeger last name, which was her mother’s maiden name. She was anticipated to graduate from Blair Oaks High School in 2020, based on the school’s expectations. At the time, Hallie was a student at the University of Missouri earning a degree in Animal Science.
There, she focused mostly in the field of animal science. She loved animals of all types with a fierce passion, but horses held a particularly special place in her heart. Horses were her favorite animal, by far. As a seasoned athlete in the sport of barrel racing, Hallie relished any chance she got to spend time in the horse ring during contests. She was alive, insightful, honest, eager, and REAL all at once, radiating vivacity like no one else could.
She was REAL, too. Hallie has one of the most contagious smiles I’ve ever seen; I’ve never seen one quite like that. She was not just a kind older sister to her younger siblings, but also a lovely daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She modeled behavior for her younger siblings. She also had a close relationship with both of her parents.
Because of the program that enables her to give the gift of life to other people through organ donation, Hallie is able to keep illuminating the world. She is able to do this even after she has died away thanks to this. Hallie is survived by her parents, Kenny and Alice Oligschlaeger, Carolyn and Mike Brune, and Vicki Phillips; her grandparents, Chace and Sommer Phillips, Alexis, Carter, and Dane Bremer; her siblings, Chace and Sommer Phillips, Alexis, Carter, and Dane Bremer; and a sizable number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends. Jim Phillips, her grandfather, had already left this world when she passed suddenly.
Her grandfather had already left this planet before she arrived. On Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Capital Bluffs Event Center, a Memorial Service will be held from three in the afternoon until eight in the evening. The event’s start and end times could change. Send your gift to the Bank of Missouri at the following address: 3610 Buttonwood Drive Suite 100, Columbia, Missouri 65201 if you would like to commemorate her by contributing to the Hallie Phillips Memorial Fund. I appreciate your consideration.
