Kenneth Sawyer Death, Obituary – Kenneth Charles Sawyer, our devoted husband, father, grandpa, son, and brother, passed away on December 14 at the age of 72. On May 2, 1950, he was born in Van Nuys, which is located in Los Angeles County, California. His parents were Charles Sawyer and Lois White Sawyer. It was in California that he spent his childhood. When he was 19 years old, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in London, England. After that, he attended BYU college in Idaho and then Utah State university in Logan, Utah, where he earned a degree in business. He currently works as a businessman.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held numerous callings within the building; however, he particularly enjoyed working with the primary nursery and cleaning the church. Moreover, he was a prophet in the church. On December 17, 1982, he wed the woman who would become his wife Roberta (Lewis) Sawyer in the temple in Logan, Utah Together for 40 Years. He was devoted to his family and willingly accepted all of the obligations that came with being a father to seven children. He looked forward to spending time with his wife, taking care of her, and attending religious services with her up until the time he passed away.

Because Ken was known for his strong work ethic and had spent several years working as a machine operator for Coca-Cola, where he was well respected, the company placed a high priority on his punctuality. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed ball room dancing, singing in the choir, spending the holidays with his family, kung fu, and baptisms. Ken was a good person who had a generous spirit, a modest demeanor, and a witty sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by everyone.

Roberta Sawyer, who was his wife, is one among the people he leaves behind. His children, Timothy Hall, Kami Hall, Clayton Hall, and Meredith Hall, as well as Sara (Aaron) Osness and Mandy (Stephen) Snow, have provided him with a total of 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Kathy Hall, Sharon (Michael)Jarrett, Patricia Page, and Robert (Bliss) Sawyer are his siblings. Kathy is the oldest. (A significant number of nieces and nephews.
