Bobby Halton Death, Obituary – Chief Bobby Halton is not now participating in any of the jobs that he formerly had, including the positions of Educational Director at FDIC and Editor in Chief of the magazine Fire Engineering. Chief Halton has handed in his resignation and formally left his post. The news of Chief Halton’s passing came as a shock to everyone.

On the evening of December 19, 2022, Chief Halton passed away unexpectedly at his home in Oklahoma, where he had spent his final days living in lavish luxury up until the moment of his passing. Since the small hours of the morning of that specific day, he had not left the location at any point; he had been there nonstop ever since then. Halton, who worked as the leader of the editing team and played a major role in the process, was largely responsible for the FDIC’s meteoric rise to prominence as the world’s most prosperous and well-attended fire service instructional conference in the annals of firefighting history.
