Cassandra Leigh Obituary, Death – A woman from Connecticut who was 23 years old and was involved in a collision that ended in her being struck and killed by a tractor-trailer lost her life in a collision that occurred after she was involved in a collision with another vehicle and was ejected from her vehicle into the street.

The accident took place in New Haven County on December 18 around nine o’clock in the evening on southbound Interstate 91 near Exit 9 in North Haven. The area is located in New Haven. North Haven resident Cassandra Leigh Carlson was driving a Subaru WRX Premium when the accident occurred, and according to the Connecticut State Police, she was in the left-center lane at the time of the collision.

The Honda Accord that she hit was moving in front of her at a rapid rate of speed. Carlson was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash did not result in any injuries for Carlson. The state police have reported that the collision resulted in both vehicles losing control and crashing into the metal guard rail after spinning out of control.

Carlson was apparently ejected from the Subaru and onto the street, where he was later knocked over by a tractor-trailer that was moving in the left center lane. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. The State Police conducted an investigation into the incident. The report from the state police indicates that medical personnel present at the site determined that she had passed away. According to the authorities, the driver of the Honda got some minor injuries, whilst the driver of the tractor-trailer did not sustain any injuries.

Following the collision, the roadway was blocked off to traffic on both sides for a period of several hours; however, it is now available to vehicles on both sides once again.
