Edward Whitmire Obituary, Death – The findings of the investigation conducted by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office indicate that a driver who had previously been involved in two collisions took his own life in the end. It was approximately 1:30 in the morning on Sunday when the event was said to have taken place on East North Street, which is situated in close proximity to Park Walk Drive. The location of East North Street is described as being in the neighborhood.

After the initial collision, the driver, who was later determined to be 25-year-old Edward Silas Whitmire, exited his vehicle and attempted to cross the median, which is when he was struck by a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was eventually identified as Christopher A. Sullivan. It was determined that Edward Silas Whitmire was also the person behind the wheel of the second vehicle.

According to the state troopers, the vehicle that hit Whitmire continued up East North Street and smashed into another vehicle that was parked but still occupied despite the fact that it was a passenger vehicle. This was despite the fact that both vehicles were passenger vehicles. Troopers claim that they transported Whitmire to the hospital, but that after he got to the institution, it was too late to save his life and he was pronounced dead.

As a result of the incident, the people who were operating the vehicles sustained injuries, and emergency personnel transported them to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The driver of the SUV was able to walk away from the collision unscathed by any injuries sustained as a result of it. Both the General Crimes Coordinating Office (GCCO) and the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) are continuing their separate investigations into the events leading up to this incident. According to the information provided by the coroner, an autopsy is scheduled to take place on Monday, so make sure to keep an eye out for that.
