Heather Thompson Death, Obituary – Our Health and Recreation Manager, Heather Brown (Thompson), was stolen from us in an unexpected and tragic way on November 12th, Saturday. We are all processing the news that she died away unexpectedly with broken and sorrowful hearts because it came to all of us as a complete surprise. The news that she passed away unexpectedly is something that we are all processing with a shattered and heavy heart. Everyone who knew Heather at the Kroc Center, whether they worked with her or were customers there, held her in extremely high regard.

This includes both the people who worked with her and the people who were clients there. This includes both the people who worked with her as well as those who frequented the establishment as customers. This includes one’s customers as well as one’s employees in a certain organization. We shall miss her more than we are even capable of putting into words as a result of the fact that her selfless demeanor and her unwavering dedication to providing assistance to others were qualities that were never overlooked by anyone.

Because of this, we shall miss her more than we are even able to put into words. We are going to feel a profound loss when she leaves us. During this trying time, we ask that you remember her and her family in prayer and that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and ideas. Thank you for your consideration of this request. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time; may God bless you, keep you, and grant you his peace. I hope this finds you well. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as I go about my day.

We would like to take this opportunity to offer my gratitude to the Omaha Kroc Center for treating my sister, her family, and myself with the courtesy and warmth that is so distinctive of the organization. This treatment was extended to all of us when we visited the Kroc Center. She mentioned that she had a lovely experience working alongside each and every one of you and that she was grateful for the opportunity to strike up a discussion with the people she met there. She also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to meet new people.
