Jason Ewald Obituary, Death – Jason William Ewald, 51, of Caro passed away suddenly at home on December 17, 2022. William “Bill” and Linda (Weeks) Ewald’s son Jason was born in Caro on November 8, 1971. He graduated from Caro High School. In 1993, Jason just so happened to meet his true love, the former Nancy Marshall. They were married on July 19, 1997, after falling in love at first sight. They were friends for almost thirty years, sharing many stories and laughs.
Jason built kitchen cabinets and applied spray finishes to them over his nearly thirty years of employment at Greenia Custom Woodworking. He was an avid outdoorsman who cherished spending time with his loved ones while hunting, fishing, and camping. Jason was a fantastic artist and a master of several crafts, though he would never admit it. He insisted on perfection in everything he did. He built his own weapons from the ground up using his childhood passion for dissecting objects to understand how they worked.
Jason also enjoyed target shooting and collected ancient firearms. He liked watching the Detroit Lions, playing ping pong, watching corn hole, and playing cards with family and friends. He also liked to play golf. Jason was known for his late-night motivational lectures, and he never turned down a Captain & Coke. He was always willing to provide the best advice and pitch in and help, even if you didn’t ask him to.
Because he possessed a pure heart, Jason made the ideal spouse, father, papa, son, brother, and friend. We will sincerely miss him.
Jason Ewald is survived by his loving wife Nancy Ewald, their children Nikki (Kenyata) Ewald, Ashley (Isaac Newton), and Errin (Destiny Gregory), as well as their grandchildren Zandar Ewald, Arya Ewald, Zayne Ewald, and Emmett Ewald. Jason is also survived by his parents William and Linda Ewald, his siblings Chris (Barb Bennett) and Carrie Ewald, as well as numerous nieces, and nephews Jason also lost his sister Kimberly Ewald and his brother-in-law William “Bill” Marshall in addition to his parents Harold and Shirley Weeks and Alfred and Joy Ewald.
