Jessie Bonnette Death, Obituary – Jessie Bonnette, who had been employed by the Welsh Greyhounds in the past as a flag runner, passed away unexpectedly on December 15 at the age of 26. At this point, all of the preparations for her funeral have been finished. Jessie had worked for the Welsh Greyhounds in the past. Jessie’s previous team was the Welsh Greyhounds, which she played for. At the time of her death, Jessie Bonnette had lived for a total of 26 years until she finally succumbed to her illness.
After Bonnette’s remarkable showing at the Southwest Louisiana Special Olympics in 2014, the parish of Jeff Davis bestowed upon him the honor of naming him Athlete of the Year for their community. This recognition came as a direct result of Bonnette’s ability to dominate his competition. Friends and extended relatives of the Bonnette family are cordially invited to pay their respects to the Bonnette family on Wednesday, December 21, during the viewing that will take place at Living Way Pentecostal Church from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and which will be hosted by the Bonnette family.
The viewing will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday is the day that the showing will take place. The Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh will be open for visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., and then again on Thursday, the funeral home will open at 8:00 a.m. and remain open until the time of the funeral service. The visitation will be held on Wednesday. In memory of the individual who has passed away, a memorial service will be held at the funeral home at one o’clock in the afternoon. This gathering will be held in their honor. The get-together will start at one in the afternoon. After much deliberation, it was decided that the burial would take place in the Ardoin Cove in Lacassine. The location for the burial was chosen.
