Joan Calouette  Death, Obituary –  Joan L. Calouette, who had spent her whole life in Escanaba, Michigan, passed away on December 17, 2022, at the UP Health System – Marquette. She had been a resident of the city her entire life. She was already 85 years old at the time.Her parents were John and Yvonne (Beauchamp) Gallagher, and she was born on December 2nd, 1937 in the city of Escanaba. Her full name is Yvonne Ann Gallagher.

She was John and Yvonne’s daughter when she was born. Joan was born in the city of Escanaba, where she also received her high school education and received her diploma in the year 1956. Joan graduated from Escanaba High School and received her diploma. On June 18, 1960, at St. Patrick’s Church located in Escanaba, Joan and John C. Calouette performed their wedding ceremony, exchanged their vows, and became husband and wife. She was a devoted and loving mother to her two children, Sue and Kathleen, and a devoted and loving wife to her husband.

Her children were lucky to have such a committed and loving mother. Her children were very fortunate to have a mother who was so devoted to them and so kind.She spent a significant chunk of her career working as the baking manager at Super One Foods in Escanaba, which is the city where the supermarket is located. In addition to being a devoted embroiderer, she regarded the time she got to spend in Farmington Hills with her grandkids as some of the most precious of her life. It was occupied by her grandchildren at the time.

Joan was active in the community of Wells through her membership at the St. Anthony Church, which she attended regularly.Surviving members of her family include her husband, John, who currently resides in Escanaba; their two daughters, Sue (Al) Harvala of Gladstone and Kathleen Stevenson of Farmington Hills, Michigan; their grandchildren, Jessica Stevenson, Ryan Stevenson, Alex Harvala, Chaz Harvala, and Trent (McKenzie) Harvala; their sisters, Patricia Johnson, Betty (Jim) LaVigne, and Mary (Art) Mayers; and their sisters in law,
