Leon McDaniel Obituary, Death – An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered inside a barn that was on fire early on Sunday morning near Travelers Rest prompted the authorities to launch the investigation into the event. The investigation was prompted by an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found inside the barn.
The North Greenville Fire Department stated that they were called to an incident on Locust Hill Road on December 18 at approximately 7:07 in the morning. However, the barn was still blazing as the firefighters were attempting to deal with the falling metal roof at that time. The officials reported that the fire had been put out by 8:05 in the morning, although it was still burning.
After the smoke was cleared away, the firefighters were able to locate the body of the deceased guy and bring him out of the building. According to information provided by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the deceased has been named Leon McDaniel, who was 76 years old at the time of his passing. McDaniel had reached the age of 76 at the time of his passing.
They also stated that the results of an autopsy had shown that smoke inhalation and heat burns were the principal factors in McDaniel’s death and that the results of the autopsy had been communicated to the public. The officials also noted that the barn had a lot of vehicles that were being stored inside of it and that it gave off the appearance of being utilized as a workshop. In addition, the barn had the appearance of being used.
There were a total of twenty firefighters were dispatched to the location, with some coming from Tigerville, some from Piedmont Park, and others from Lake Cunningham. As part of their respective inquiries, the North Greenville Fire Department and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are both actively trying to determine what caused the fire.
