Leslie Wyatt Obituary, Death – Leslie E. “Gene L.” Wyatt passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 91 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. His full name was Gene L. Wyatt. He considered the community of Corbin in Kentucky to be his permanent residence. Matt Wyatt and Elizabeth Wyatt, both of whom had passed away prior to him, were honored in the naming of their son with the same name.

He was born in the town of Corbin, which is located in the state of Kentucky. Gene L. had a career as an auto body technician during his stint in the United States Army, which he had joined after completing his military service. His wife, Betty Perkins, as well as his brothers Jim, Bill, Joe, and Charlie Wyatt, and his sister, Frances Wyatt Dillon, all passed away before he did. He was the last surviving member of his family.

In addition to his grandparents and parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife. Both of his parents perished away when he was still a young child. He never got to say goodbye to them. He is survived by his wife, Billie Stewart Wyatt, his children Leslie Eugene “Gene” Wyatt Jr., Brenda Wyatt Chism (Les), Sherry McHargue (JC), Lisa Cima (Edmondo), and Jeff Chadwell (Donna), as well as 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition, he leaves behind one great great grandchild. In addition to this, he has one great-great-grandchild who survives him.

Visitation is scheduled to take place at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home on the 22nd of December, 2022, from noon to two in the afternoon.
