Seán Kearney Death, Obituary – We are sorry to inform you of the passing of Seán Kearney, who lived at “Antonville” on Ballymahon Road in Athlone, Westmeath, N37 AE97. Seán Kearney was a resident of Westmeath. This information is being conveyed to you with a deep sense of regret on our part. We are saddened to learn of his passing and want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this trying time. On the 18th of December, 2022, he passed away calmly in the setting that was most familiar to him: his own home.
He had lived there all his life. The settlement known as “Antonville” is found within the municipality of Athlone, which is found in Westmeath County. Athlone is the location of the county seat. Before he died, his loving wife Nancy and his daughter Patricia both went away. When he passed away, he was the sole surviving member of his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving children, daughters Aiveen and Brd (Kenny), sons Vincent and Shane, sisters Mary, Kathleen, and Ita, sons-in-law Gordon Garde and Paddy Kenny, daughter-in-law Deirdre, and Vincent’s partner Michelle, grandchildren Kevin, Maeve, Brendan, Jennifer, Deirdre, Niamh, Brian, Eoghan, Seán, Daniel & Ryan, great grandsons Noah A funeral mass, also known as a requiem mass, will be held in the congregation of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Coosan at twelve o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 22nd of December, in honor of the departed.
Another name for this type of mass is a funeral mass. After the completion of the funeral liturgy, the body of the deceased person will be transported to the Coosan Cemetery so that they can be laid to rest there.
