Steven Gillis Death, Obituary – Steven Anthony Gillis, who resided in Savannah, Georgia, tragically passed away at his home on December 12, 2022. He was 33 years old. Steven J. Gillis and Kathleen S. Gillis, his parents, both of whom have passed away, raised their son Steven in Savannah, Georgia, where he was born and raised. After graduating from Johnson High School with his high school diploma, he continued his education by obtaining a certificate in Culinary Arts at Johnson.
Following his enrollment in Abilities Unlimited, Steven took part in the powerlifting events that were made available by the organization. In the shape of Pennie and Tommy Lightfoot, as well as Jim Chaplin, who served as his personal trainer, he was able to amass a second family. Steven was named as the Georgia Special Olympic Athlete of the Month for the month of February 2018, which took place in 2018. In addition to that, he found the AMBUCS bowling league to be a lot of fun to take part in.
His mother, Steven J. Gillis, his brother Christopher Dickerson and his family, his sister Krista Gillis and her family, his brother Matthew Gillis and his family, and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews are also among those who will carry on Steven’s legacy after his passing.
