Ben Sigmon Death, Obituary – Heaven now has more angels than ever before. Ben Sigmon, my brother-in-law, succumbed to natural causes and passed away unexpectedly. He was one of the most kind-hearted and caring people I’ve ever met, and his loss will be deeply missed. He cared deeply about both his family and his pets, and he would do whatever he could to help them. We will update this page with new information as soon as we have it. Ben’s parents, Michael “Kenny” Sigmon and Carol Lutz “Callie” Sigmon, died before he was born on February 8, 1985 in Forsyth County.
Ben loved being around animals, tending to his garden, cooking, and being outside, whether it was in the mountains or on the beach. He was referred to as the “master of cheesy jokes,” according to others. His grandmother, Joyce Sigmon, his grandfathers, W.R. Lutz and Michael Monroe Sigmon, and his mother were all deceased before him. His mother’s mother was his grandma. His nieces and nephews are Alexia Sigmon and Mayson Lail, while his nephews are Evan Sigmon, Chase Sigmon, and Brody Sigmon. In addition to his father Kenny Sigmon, he is also survived by his brothers Kenneth “Lance” Sigmon and Tatum, Joshua Michael Sigmon, and Jeremy Alan Sigmon and Jessica, as well as nieces and nephews Chase Sigmon and Brody Sigmon.
His grandmother Carol Lutz, his uncles Rusty Lutz and wife Cindy, Dale Lutz, Todd Lutz and wife Diane, and Rick Duckworth, as well as a sizable number of devoted cousins and other relatives, are also left to cherish his memory. A memorial service will be held at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church on Thursday, December 22 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Randall Cauble will serve as the celebrant. The family will have a visitation for friends and family on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. before the funeral service.
