Bonnie Bodine Death, Obituary – When I got back to Taylorsville, I found out the sad news that my great aunt Bonnie Jean Bodine, who was also known as my grandma Ruth’s sister, had gone away at the age of 88. She was my grandma Ruth’s sister. She was my grandma Ruth’s sister. In addition to being known as my grandma Ruth’s sister, my great aunt Bonnie Jean Bodine was also known as my grandma Ruth. When I first heard the news, I had just returned to the location in Taylorsville where I had been before.
Bonnie was the last child born into the Cox line of the family, making her the youngest member of the group. In total, there were 17 children born into this branch of the family. She was the only child to reach maturity among all of her siblings, and she was also the only member of the family’s immediate family to do so. Only one sister existed in her mother’s household. She always seemed to be happy and full of life, and she had a smile pasted on her face the entire time I saw her.
I never got the impression that she had anything to complain about. When I was a little child, I noticed that I was thinking a lot about my maternal grandmother Ruth as a result of her. She was the woman who gave birth to my paternal grandfather. In 2017, I was the featured artist at Jeptha Creed Distillery, and Bonnie surprised me by coming out on stage as I was performing that performance. She joined me for a few songs before leaving. That precise moment will be seared into our recollections for all of time and all of eternity (see below).
On that particular evening, she completely and utterly enchanted all of those individuals who were present!!! We are going to miss having her here with us as much as possible because it has been such a joy to have her company. During this time of year, we frequently think of and pray for the family, as well as giving them our best wishes and remembering them in our thoughts. Dad is going to be one of the pall bearers at the funeral that is going to take place the following week; the funeral is going to take place the week after that.
