Because of the way in which you have matured into a person who has taken on so much responsibility following your father’s passing, and because of the way in which you have cared for your mother when she has been sick, you have earned our love and respect.
In so many ways… The day did not get off to the start that I had expected for it to get off to after I received a phone call and learned that you had passed away. I sobbed. In the manner of a young child. Everyone here is in shambles and our heads have been utterly blown after hearing the news of your dying. This is a serious blow to our efforts. The beating of your heart.
The day that your father passed away is something that is ingrained in my memory and won’t ever be forgotten. In spite of the fact that we were all aware of the fact that he was unable to perform additional tasks, the idea that he could do them caused my father a great deal of anxiety. You were the VERY FIRST person to console him and tell him that he was not to fault for what had taken place; this accomplishment is all due to you.
You took responsibility and demonstrated that you are the kind of man we have always known you to be because of the way you handled the situation. Totally and completely fantastic on every single imaginable level. You were a brother figure to me, and I looked up to you. Karen and I have been driving you completely insane for the better part of the last four decades.
But there was no question in our minds that you loved us. Unconditionally. I’m not sure what we’re going to do without you, but I want you to know how much we love you even if I don’t know what we’re going to do. We beg you not to abandon us. We are aware of the fact that both of your parents greeted you with their arms spread wide. It has been brought to our attention that you are no longer suffering from any form of illness or pain.
We are well aware of the fact that you loved each and every one of us, and we have no doubt in our minds that you are seeing what is happening here on earth at this very moment in order to ensure that things go off without a hitch. Everyone here is going to miss you very much once you’ve moved on.
