Obituary The 12th of December, 2022 was the day that Randy Mosher, who had been a resident of Mooresville, North Carolina, had gone away.
Telling you about the passing of Randy Mosher, my husband, who passed away on Monday, is something that breaks my heart to do so. During his final moments, his loved ones were there to console and aid him in any way they could. The man who was the love of my life, my soulmate, and my closest friend and I were about to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.
I was getting ready to celebrate this milestone with him. After 35 years of marriage, we were still very much in love with one another. We had just about arrived at the point where we would be celebrating our anniversary the next month, and it seemed like it had flown by. Even though he fought the cancer with such valor, none of us understood how aggressive it was until it was too late.
In June, just six months after his first diagnosis, he succumbed to the disease that had been ravaging his body. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the many prayers, well wishes, dinners, presents, and acts of service that have been performed for him over the past few months; nevertheless, we are unable to adequately convey how thankful we are for all of these things. He frequently found himself filled with emotion when he realized how many people cared about him, and he was genuinely glad for the fact that so many people felt this way.
He was thankful that so many people cared about him. In spite of the fact that he was hospitalized, he never failed to convey his gratitude to the staff members and medical professionals that entered the room by muttering “thank you” in between his laborious breaths.
