David Thom Death, Obituary – David W. Thom passed away at his farm on September 3, 2022 at the age of 63. He had been there since the day he began his treatment. During the final moments of his life, loving ones from both of his families were there to care for him. David Thom was born to his parents, Frank and Judy Thom, on the Toul Rosieres Air Force Base in Moselle, which is in the region of France known as the country of France. The date of his birth was January 2, 1959.
David spent his entire life in the state of California, where he also grew up with his parents and his three siblings, Mona, Frank, and Steve. David’s childhood was spent in California. In 1976, David obtained his diploma from San Gorgonio High School, where he had completed his high school studies. He wed Laura on March 26, 1983, and just a little over a year after the ceremony, the pair became parents to their first child. After becoming parents, the couple welcomed three wonderful children into the world: Ginger, Dave, and Kimmy.
All three of these kids turned out to be very successful adults. Despite the fact that they had finalized their divorce in 2012, the exes have maintained their friendship and continue to be active participants in the lives of their children and grandchildren. David had a lifelong fixation on athletics, and he soon realized that officiating sporting events was his true vocation. In 2007, he was able to fulfill one of his longtime goals by working as an umpire in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
This was a very significant accomplishment for him. This was the very first time that he had the chance to carry out the action. The opportunity to work as an umpire for a softball game in which his granddaughter was competing was presented to him a few weeks ago, and he rated it as one of the more delightful experiences he has had in recent memory. David was able to cultivate a wide network of friendships that have the potential to last a lifetime as a direct result of the job he did as an umpire, which is something for which he will be eternally grateful.
