Mark McElrath Obituary, Death – Mark Alan McElrath of Goodrich, a resident of Michigan, passed away unexpectedly. Mark Alan McElrath, the son of Alan and Trisha McElrath, was born on January 19, 1989. The ceremony was held on November 24, 2012, in Goodrich, Michigan, and Sydney (Mahalak) McElrath was the bride. Brenda and Kevin Mahalak are her parents. Mark has been a Special Agent for the US Secret Service for the last six years and has dedicated himself to defending his country. Mark appeared to be larger than life, both literally and figuratively.
He cherished spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities like golfing and fishing. Mark has been a loyal supporter of the Wolverines ever since he started attending the University of Michigan to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011. As a kid, he discovered a passion of sports, and throughout his academic career, he played basketball and golf. Everyone was pulled to him by his distinct personality and warm grin despite the fact that he was frightening. This was true despite the fact that he was very tall.
Mark was a leader, a hard worker, a loyal friend, and a quietly powerful man. Additionally, he was funny. He treasured being a committed spouse, an involved dad, and living his life with the desire to know and follow the Lord in all that he did, in addition to having a career that allowed him to serve his country. Mark McElrath is survived by his wife Sydney McElrath, their two children Madelyn Avery McElrath (age 4) and Maximus Alan McElrath (age 1), his parents Alan and Trisha McElrath, his brother Nick McElrath, as well as a large number of other devoted relatives and close friends.
