Sherri Smith Death, Obituary – Sherri Smith, who served as a guidance counselor at Carthage Primary School for many years, recently passed away after a valiant battle against cancer. This information is being relayed to you with the deepest sense of regret on our part. We apologize for the inconvenience. Because Mrs. Smith worked as an educator in the Carthage Independent School District for a considerable amount of time, and because during that period of time she had a significant impact on the lives of a large number of students in the district, her absence will be keenly felt by those in the district.

It would be really helpful if you could keep the Smith family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of year. Thank you in advance for your consideration. I can’t thank you enough for giving this topic the consideration it deserves. A treasured presence in the lives of her children, Chloe and Curtis Perreault’s mother, Perreault. She was the sister of Steven (Tracey), Kevin, Judith Pierce, Doug (Karen), Jayne Stevens (Duane), and Chris, all of whom held a significant amount of respect and affection for her (Geena).

Her numerous nieces and nephews, in addition to the many friends she had, will always and fondly remember her. She had a lot of friends too. Both of her parents, Ronnie Smith and Marion Smith, whose maiden name was Cox, have now died away, but she was the daughter of Ronnie Smith and Marion Smith. Sherrie worked as a personal support worker at The Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior for a number of years, during which time she provided assistance to the residents of that facility. Many people were able to take advantage of her generosity, compassion, and kindness because she always put the requirements of others before of her own. This allowed her to treat others with respect and dignity.
