Melanie Sharp Obituary, Death – Melanie Sharp, the proprietor of Schoop’s in Michigan City, was taken from us much too soon. It is with deep regret that we must notify you of her passing. This is information that we are passing on to you with a heavy feeling in our hearts. During this trying time, we want her family to know that we are thinking about and praying for them. This location is significant to her legacy as the history of her legacy can be traced back many decades within these walls, making this location an important component of her legacy.

She greeted the thousands of customers that flooded through the door with a big smile on her face and her arms out wide open in a greeting gesture. When she did so, she did so with her arms spread wide open in a welcoming gesture (but closed when she was hugging you). During the period that she worked for us, she was an integral part of our company and had a significant influence on the lives of an uncountable number of her fellow employees and other staff members.

She was the fluffy topping that went on top of the cracker jack that had a crunchy exterior. She was a dependable friend, a teacher, and a leader all packaged into one personable package. As a result of the tragic chain of events that led up to her loss, Schoop’s will be closed both on December 24 and December 25, as well as for the remainder of the Christmas season. This decision was made because of her passing. I would like to show my gratitude to everyone who was involved for everything that was done, and I would like to say thank you.
