Robert Roye Obituary, Death – Dr. Robert Roye is a specialist in both general orthopedics and sports medicine. Both of these fields are among his specializations. Patients at the Regional Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center, which has offices in Waxahachie and Hillsboro, Texas, and covers the towns of Ellis, Dallas, Tarrant, Johnson, Hill, Navarro, and Kaufman, receive care from him that is up to date with the most recent medical advances. Dr. Roye received the highest possible grade in his field of study while attending the University of Texas at Austin, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in San Antonio, where he graduated with honors and got a medical degree. He followed a career in medicine after completing his medical degree by becoming an assistant resident physician in general surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences.
In addition, he earned his orthopedic surgery training at the same hospital center where he completed his residency. In addition, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, he completed electives in arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery as well as sports medicine with John Conway, MD. Harris Methodist Hospital hosted both of these electives. Roye is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery diplomate. He has more than 20 years of expertise as an orthopedic surgeon throughout his career.
He is a member of the Ellis County Medical Society, the Texas Society of Sports Medicine, the Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Orthopaedic Association, in addition to the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Society of Sports Medicine. His knowledge and experience have been cited in a large number of studies and presentations on a wide range of orthopedic topics. He has been a team physician and orthopedic consultant for a variety of high schools and organizations in the surrounding area since 1993.
He has held this position since 1993. Dr. Roye established his first medical practice in Waxahachie the same year.
