Richard Brown Death, Obituary – We were left in a state of immense sadness as a direct result of the terrible news that Richard Brown had died away at an untimely age yesterday. The news came as a complete shock to us, and as a result, we were completely taken aback by it. Richard, a former player, treasurer, and chairman of HCC, led the resurrection of our club into the Cheshire cricket pyramid and helped start us out on the path that has led to the victories we have achieved in recent years. His efforts were instrumental in setting us on the path that has led to the success we have experienced in recent years.
In addition, he was instrumental in putting us on the course that would eventually lead to the achievements that we have had over the past several years. During this time, he was also the chairman of the HCC, which was a post he held. In addition to this, he played a critical role in ensuring that we got off to a strong starting on the path that led to the accomplishments that we have had over the course of the previous several years. He was vital in this regard.
