Ray Tucker Obituary, Death – Ray Tucker, who had lived in Vernon, Texas, during his whole 75-year existence, passed dead suddenly. He was raised there his entire life. On August 17, 1947, Ray Tucker was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. Before Ray was born, his parents, J.T. Tucker and Ola Mae Head Tucker, had both passed away. Ray’s parents had both passed away before. Ray and Carole Spears Tucker were wed for a total of twenty-seven years until they officially divorced. Ray was a devoted supporter of Oklahoma State University, where he received his education, as well as the University of Oklahoma.
He also had a diploma from Oklahoma State University, where he had graduated. At Tucker’s, which is located in Oklahoma just across the Red River from Texas, Ray’s first job was helping his father, J.T., run the business. Ray’s first employment was in this capacity. Ray owned Tucker’s Texas and managed the company for the final years of his life. Ray took great pleasure in conversing with people since he had a real compassion for them. At Braum’s at six in the morning, Herring Coffee Shop at eight in the morning, and Herring Coffee Shop once more at two in the afternoon, Ray would never be late for any of his three coffee stops.
He enjoyed talking with his fellow coffee lovers a lot. Ray was an ardent follower of the Presbyterian faith and held the people in his church family in the highest regard. Only Ray’s wife Carole Tucker, his daughter Emily Kristine Grushey of Dallas, Texas, and his grandson Donald Collins Grushey will remember him once he passes away. Shiner Bock, Ray’s loyal friend and partner of many years, also stays behind. On Friday, December 30, 2022, at 2:00 pm, funeral services will be performed at First Presbyterian Church in memory of the dead.
The preparations will be handled by Sullivan Funeral Home, and the Reverend George Records will officiate the service. Friday’s visitation will start at one o’clock in the afternoon and take place in the First Presbyterian Church’s parlor. On Friday, there will be a visitor.
