Archie Smith Death, Obituary – I’m sorry to be the one to break the news to you all yet again, but due to circumstances that were beyond our control, we had no option but to say our last farewells to one more member of the choir. I’m sorry to be the one to be the one to break the news to you all. I sincerely hope that everyone of you will forgive me for having to be the one to do it. I’m going to make an attempt to condense and simplify this as much as I can for your benefit. Everyone with whom I’ve shared a work space throughout the course of my career will be profoundly missed by me.

The sudden news that Archie Smith had gone suddenly just a few days before the holiday was a terrible and tragic blow to the entire family. Archie was an amazing bass singer who had been a part of the choir for a considerable length of time. He had been a member for a long time. He has been affiliated with the group for a considerable amount of time now. He has been associated with the company for a period of time that constitutes a significant amount of time at this point. Despite the fact that he only attended the chorus once a week and traveled once a week from Gretna to be there.

The other members of the Carlisle Veterans’ Male Voice Choir regarded him with great respect as a member of the “old guard.” This was the case even though he only attended the chorus once a week. Despite the fact that he only attended the chorus once a week, this was the result. Even though he only sang with the chorus once a week, the other members of the “old guard” regarded him a valued member of the group and looked up to him as a leader. He had been a part of the choir for a length of time that extended over a significant amount of time and had been a member for the most of the time that he had been a part of the choir.

Our sincere condolences go out to his family, and in particular to Ken and Andrea, who were his son and daughter-in-law. Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. Please accept our sincerest sympathies. Please know that both of you are in both of our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
