Harold Mingus Death, Obituary – On April 2nd, 1942, in the village of Cerro Gordo, Wayne Mingus, the son of Harold and Bessie (Houchin) Mingus, was welcomed into the world by his parents and the rest of the world. There was a musician by the name of Wayne Mingus. In recognition of the baby’s father, the name Wayne was chosen for the newborn. In Stewardson, Colorado, on the 12th of June in 1966, he and Nancy Beals took each other’s hands, spoke their vows, and became husband and wife. The ceremony took place. 1966 was the year that the event was held as a ceremony.

In 1960, Wayne finished his secondary education at Stewardson-Strasburg High School, where he also received his high school certificate upon completion of his studies there. He was awarded a certificate for his accomplishments. When he was stationed in Vietnam with the United States Army, he was a member of the “Big Red One Division” of the 1st Infantry Division. He was there throughout the Vietnam War. The 1st Infantry Division included this division as one of its subordinate units. First as an over-the-road truck driver and then as a diesel mechanic, Wayne spent the most of his working life in the transportation industry.

He began his career in this field as a truck driver. He was a member of the Strasburg Baptist Church, where he also held the position of trustee, in addition to being a member of the JI Case Collector’s Association, which was another organization to which he joined. In addition to that, he was a member of the JI Case Collector’s Association. In addition to that, he was an active participant in the Wilbur Braughton American Legion Post 611 in Stewardson. He labored for a considerable amount of time on the refurbishment of an assortment of vintage tractors, the great most of which were CASE makes.

His most cherished pastimes included going mushroom hunting, operating his model trains, and watching classic westerns, football, and NASCAR races on television. He had a huge amount of enthusiasm for railroads and train travel. Wayne is survived by Nancy Mingus, his loving wife of 56 years, who currently resides in Stewardson; his children, Cindy (David) Foreman of Dieterich, Ronald Mingus of Stewardson, and Diana (Dewayne) Day of Strasburg; his cherished grandchildren, Brittany (Adam) Mette of Newton, Ashley Foreman (fiancĂ©e, Ryan Schellhorn) of O’Fallon, Missouri, and Dennis (Jeanna) Day
