Helen Hill Death, Obituary – My husband’s parents lost their beloved mother to an unanticipated illness on the 14th of December. Helen, please know that each and every one of us loves and misses you. As scripture was read to her and I played the role of Sweet Friend, she experienced the transition into her new home, Heaven, and a tear rolled down her face. She went on to have a peaceful entrance into heaven. This picture of her and her great, kind husband, who unfortunately passed away in August, is one of my very favorites. \

There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that he met her at the gate of paradise. At the age of 87, Helen A. (Jamieson) Hill passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Our Lady of Fatima, which is located in North Providence. She called Scenery Lane in Johnston, North Carolina, her home. She was a loving wife to the late Robert B. Hill, who had a great career in business, and she was married to him for many years. She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and she was the daughter of Charles O. and Ruth M. (Holmes) Jamieson, both of whom had passed away before to her birth.

A receptionist at the American Cancer Society and an assembler at A. T. Cross respectively were among Mrs. Hill’s previous occupations before she took early retirement. She was a deacon at the Four Corners Community Chapel in Cumberland, where she also attended services as a member of the chapel’s congregation.
Her husband, her parents, her son David Bubier, and her brother Charles O. Jamieson Jr. all predeceased her. She was the only surviving member of her immediate family.

Her three sons and their spouses are the only members of her family who are still living: Brian Loiselle and his wife Cynthia, who live in Arizona; Douglas Bubier and his wife Jo-Ann, who live in North Providence; and Daniel Bubier and his wife Beth, who live in Pawtucket. She also has a large number of grandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom are the offspring of her children and their offspring. The funeral service for her will take place on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Four Corners Community Church in Cumberland. The church can be found at 200 Angell Road. The event will get underway at eleven in the morning. Because we have respect for one another, there is no mention of calling hours. It is planned to be a private ceremony when the body is laid to rest.
