Hilary Calwell Death, Obituary – Hilary Calwell (née McGookin), who fought a brief battle with sickness before dying away on December 24, 2022 at The Royal Victoria Hospital in Ballymena, was born into the McGookin family. Hilary Calwell (née McGookin) was a member of the McGookin family. The McGookin family included Hilary Calwell, whose maiden name was McGookin and who afterwards became Calwell. She regarded Ballymena as her home and lived there as a resident for the most of her life. She was the devoted mother of Darren, Sandra, Elaine, and Linda; the mother-in-law of Georgina, Frank, Armin, and Alan.

The adoring grandmother of Neave, Andrew, Logan, Ollie, Charlotte, Ellen, Katie, Tommy, Emily, Sophie, and James; and the adoring sister of Dorothy. She passed away on December 19, 2018. The 15th of October 2018 was the day she went away. Her offspring and grandchildren were the ones who preceded her in death rather than herself. All four of her children—Darren, Sandra, Elaine, and Linda—held a very special place in her mother’s heart.
