Steve Hawkins Death, Obituary – We would like to express our sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Steve Hawkins on the passing of their family member or friend. Steve previously worked as an educator for Sanford EMS Outreach, and he also held the position of Administrator for the Emergency Medical Services in Yankton County. In addition to that, he presided over our STC-Sanford Paramedic Advisory Board as Chair. His passing will be sincerely mourned by each and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and working alongside him. We would want to take this opportunity to thank you not only for the great achievements you’ve reached over the course of your career, but also for the commitment you’ve shown to the field of emergency medical services (EMS).

During this time of great difficulty, our thoughts and prayers are with Steve’s immediate family, as well as the family he has established at work and the family he has extended beyond that. We know that you have been through a lot together. Steven Hawkins, a native and inhabitant of Yankton, South Dakota, passed away in the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital that is situated in Yankton on the 23rd day of December, 2022. He was 58 years old. In the spring of 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton, South Dakota, there will be memorial services held in his honor and to celebrate his life.

These events will take place in memory of him. This city can be found in the state of South Dakota in the United States. Wendy Hawkins, his wife, will also be present at these ceremonies in order to show her support for her husband, who will be participating in them. At this time, the responsibility of completing all of the essential arrangements has been delegated to the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Yankton so that they may carry it out.
