Keene Sentinel Obituary, Death – 8/24/1955 – 8/6/2022 Following a valiant struggle against cancer, Keene Keene (Wilde) lost her battle with the disease on August 6, 2022. A short time after her passing, she went on to be with the Lord and Savior she had served. At the time of her passing, she was comforted by the loving presence of her husband and sons, who had been devoted to her throughout her life. Keene Wilde’s parents were Jeanne and William Wilde, who had both previously passed away at the time of their daughter’s birth (Gearhard). Keene wed Michael Keene in 1975, and the couple ultimately made their home in Virginia, where Keene worked as a supervisor for administrative staff to the Virginia General Assembly House of Delegates.
Michael Keene was a member of the Virginia General Assembly House of Delegates. Michael Keene served in the position of House Delegate for the Commonwealth of Virginia General Assembly. The only members of Keene’s family to have survived her death are her husband Michael, her sons Joshua and Christopher, both of whom are married to other women, and her grandchildren Evelyn, Massey, and Emilia. Keene’s sister-in-law also passed away, but she was survived by her daughter-in-law. Furthermore, Keene is survived by both of her parents as well as her siblings (Anne, Denise, Daniel, Mary and Mark).
Her two older brothers as well as both of her parents had already passed away prior to her passing away. They are branches that belong to her family tree (James and Charles). A memorial service honoring the departed will be held at the Cornerstone Assembly of God in North Chesterfield, Virginia. The location of this church can be found in Virginia. Both the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) and Project Hope (projecthope.ag) were organizations that Keene cared deeply about and supported for a very long time. If you would like to make a donation in Keene’s memory, you can do so to either of these two organizations. Memorial contributions can be made to either of the two organizations listed here in place of flowers.
