Margaret Melton Death, Obituary – At least one person passed away as a result of injuries experienced in a fire that took place early on Monday morning in Darlington County. The blaze took place in the early morning hours. In addition, in order to receive medical attention for their wounds, a total of four other people were transported to nearby hospitals. Margaret Melton, who had reached the age of 60 at the time of her dying, was identified as the person who had passed away by J Todd Hardee, who was working as the coroner for Darlington County at the time of the death inquiry.

Firefighters from the Darlington County Fire Department responded to a blaze that broke out at around 2:30 in the morning at a duplex on Hidden Creek Road in the Pine Ridge Community, according to remarks that were made by Ricky Flowers, the commander of the Darlington County Fire Department. The Pine Ridge Community was the place where the duplex could be found. The firefighters who were dispatched to the scene of the incident reported that by the time they arrived at the spot, the fire had already spread across the entirety of the structure.

After discovering from locals in the area that someone had been reported missing from the house, search and rescue personnel immediately began working their way through the building in an effort to locate and save the person who had been reported missing from the property. The person who had been reported missing from the house was located and saved by search and rescue personnel. They set out with the intention of finding and rescuing the individual who had been reported as being missing from the residence.

According to Chief Flowers, every single member of the staff tried all in their power to save as many people as they could, but in the end, they were unable to do so. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to save anyone. Four further individuals were able to make it out of the building, and as soon as they did, they were sent to a nearby hospital for further examination. The Darlington County Fire Department, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, the Darlington County Coroner’s Office, and the State Law Enforcement Division are some of the departments that are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
