Rachael Morasch Death, Obituary – On Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the age of 54, Rachael Kelly Morasch, who resided in the remote area of Ft. Scott, Kansas, passed suddenly unexpectedly at her house. She was the daughter of Gary Morasch and Nina C. Bertino Morasch and was born on December 17th, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri. Her full name is Nina C. Bertino Morasch. Rachel spent her childhood in the Kansas City region. When Rachael was a child, some of her most cherished memories were of times spent traveling throughout the United States with her aunt and uncle, particularly journeys to New York City to see her grandparents.

Rachel’s tenure in the field of medical claims administration spanned well over two decades. She held a position as a supervisor with Cobalt Med Plans at the time of our interview. Rachael devoted her life to improving the lives of others around her. She raised her three children as a single mother and did it with devotion and love. Rachael did all in her power to create priceless recollections with her family. Her children have many fond memories of the shenanigans they got into on Halloween, the camping and canoeing trips they went on, and especially of the many goofy pranks their mother played on them over the course of their childhood.

Rachael had a soft spot in her heart for critters and was always eager to lend a hand to a friendless animal. Additionally, she was a devoted follower of the Kansas City Chiefs, and she had a number of traditions that she followed before each game. After that, Rachel took care of her sick mother, Nina, who ultimately died away in May of this year. Her three children, Devon Morasch (Christina) of Nevada, Missouri, Morgan Gordon (Ethan) of Gardner, Kansas, and Chelsea Goff (David) of Ft. Scott, Kansas, as well as her five grandchildren, Quinton, Delilah, Waylon, Dawson, and Shepard, are among her survivors. Morgan Gordon (Ethan) of Gardner, Kansas and Chelsea Goff (David) of Ft. Scott, Kansas are also among her survivors.

In addition to her sister, Vivian Westphal (Mark), who lives in Overland Park, Kansas, and her uncle and aunt, Philip and Jeanette Bertino, who live in Melbourne, Australia, she is survived by her parents, but her parents came before them in death. At the Cheney Witt Chapel on Saturday, December 31st, at 10:00 AM, there will be a time set aside for funeral services. After the service, burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. At the Cheney Witt Chapel on Friday, the family will be there to greet visitors from five until seven o’clock in the evening. It is preferred that memorial contributions be sent to the Paws and Claws Animal Shelter, and they can be mailed to the Cheney Witt Chapel at the following address: 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Ft.
